Many people believe that being enlightened would be an easy, comfortable, and fast escape from certain problems they experience in their lives. But if this path would be so easy, then our planet earth and humanity would look very different than what you see in the news every day.
Let us be honest: many of us started this path because we were looking for an easy solution, maybe because we felt overwhelmed, and because we did not yet know any better. And that is fine. What matters is that we found this beautiful path. Let us be grateful for everything we learned, and for all the healing we received.
Along this path, our self-image changes, which can be confusing at the beginning. This is because we are so used to think within the frame of the human ego. It is then necessary to detach from those illusions of the material goals; including the idea of being special, and all those temporary rewards the ego wants you to believe in.
Choosing to learn and walk the Spiritual Path of Life means that you leave aside all old ideas about victimhood. You decide to be in charge of your life fully. You step into your power, you stop giving your power away to others, to blame others or the past. These steps may need some time, depending on what you learned in your life before.
We learn to choose peace instead, because we listen to our heart, the voice of our Soul. This is how we learn to see and understand the greater picture, from the higher perspective of our Soul. This connection brings us closer to Divine Consciousness, more and more. We discover an inner peace, which is also what we were longing for.
While walking the spiritual path, we still fulfill all of our responsibilities in our daily life situations. The difference is that now, we do all those things from a new level of consciousness and with loving intentions. We are serving Divine Source.
Yes, as we change within our hearts, there will be visible changes on the outside; but these changes come naturally, as a support from the Divine Universe to you. The more we follow this path, the more we discover the true meaning of life.
Self-reflections are necessary on this path. One of the main questions will be: how pure are your intentions in all situations? This is also a path of forgiveness, it is about forgiving others and forgiving ourselves. Because our Divine Source can clearly see the true intentions in the hearts of people. And if one wants to raise on a higher vibration: this is only possible with loving intentions.
This path demands humility and devotion to our Divine Source. This path demands that we think, speak, and act a lot more with our hearts, out of love and compassion - and without judgements. Those who are successful on this path are willing and ready to lay their egos aside, in order to live in alignment with Gods will.
The path of awakening demands that we stop judging others, because true love is the absence of judgement. It also means that we see and treat all others as equal, with true respect and loving compassion. The spiritual path of awakening is not for those who refuse to give up their old habits. Those who are looking for any kind of fast and superficial results, they will be disappointed.
Do not compare yourself to others. Your path is unique and only your Higher Divine Self knows what is next for you on your spiritual path. Some learn different lessons at a different age.
The teachings from the spiritual books help us to make true peace with all of these topics. Books such as A Course in Miracles show us the way out of the ego’s battlefield. They give us a new perspective and a deeper understanding of the souls path in this lifetime. This brings us back in alignment with Divine Love.
