More and more people wonder what their real life purpose could be. In many modern societies, the question of the life purpose is often filled with ideas such as a great career, professional success, a big house, cars or other material things. All of that is considered as normal. And for 50% of all people, this all goes very well. But for the other 50% of people, maybe some things turn out differently than they planned.
Around the age of 45 y., some people find themselves sobered. The career ended in frustration, more than expected. The professional success did not show up, but instead many feel exhausted and burned out. Maybe a relationship was more a disappointment than happiness. And the daily routines and tasks have replaced spontaneity and joy. Often, there is not enough time for family and friends, nor for any creative activity. These people then enter in what is called a midlife crisis and start questioning: Was this all about my plans and goals. Is this my life...?
The good news is: when you are at this point and asking yourself what is the real meaning of your life, then you are at the beginning of the adventure where you discover your real life purpose. Because YES, there is a lot more to discover and YES, your life here has a greater purpose than a career in your job or other material things.
What some call crisis, I call it the beginning of your path of awakening. One of the purposes of your life is to remember your Divine Self, meaning: to get in touch with your Soul. Because from there, you will be able to change things in your life with a higher consciousness. Once you are in touch with your real Source of Being, all things in your life will get different and easier. You then begin to life from your heart and in oneness with your Soul.
The first step in this is to free yourself from the emotional baggages of your past. This is the first purpose in your life now: healing your old wounds and letting go of the emotional drama of your story. You no longer need them. They no longer serve you. For some, this also means releasing aspects of past lifetimes.
When you move forward on this path, you will be free of the old emotional patterns which have been hindering you to live, manifest and create the life you are supposed to live. You will feel more inner peace and more self-confidence. While cleaning out the old emotional themes, you are making free space for your Soul to enter.
Your human self can then merge with your Divine Self, from where you will discover a new state of being, with more light and more love. You begin to see yourself and your life from a new and higher perspective.
This is one of your life purposes: reconnecting with your Divine Self and replacing step by step the old human consciousness by the higher and Divine Consciousness.
Depending on how many incarnations you (your Soul) already had on this planet, this is not being done within one week or two. This is taking years sometimes and it requests practice, through daily meditation and inner devotion to your own Divine Self. You are doing this for yourself now. And when you get in touch with your Divine Self, your whole life gently enters more into the flow of Divine Synchronicity, if you can allow it and trust the Divine Guidance from your Higher Divine Self.
One of your life purposes is to heal yourself first, to free yourself from the past and to reconnect with your Divine Source of Being, discovering your own Divinity again. Automatically, when you are walking through these processes, you gently change like a caterpillar who becomes a beautiful butterfly. Your life gets a new and deeper meaning, you discover more love and more harmony in all areas of your daily life. From the perspective of your human self, the changes in your life may seem strange, but this is normal for many on this path. You are about to leave the old survival mode.
During those years of inner transformation, you will be less attracted to superficial distractions, profit-oriented thinking or ego-based activities. You discover a new approach to life, to people around you and the world in general. You no longer ask yourself what you can get from others. But you ask yourself what you can give and do for others. You have mastered your ego and your emotional patterns. You become a person of honor, respect, honesty, trust and integrity. This path demands that we really lay aside our ego and all our selfishness.
This path means letting go of criticism, letting go of judgments and prejudices. We can't continue to project our personal needs and expectations on others, because these games no longer function in the higher dimensions. It is now about treating all people equally with loving kindness, respect and tolerance.
With time, you realize that one of your life purposes is You, your Higher Divine Self. Because once you found the God-part within yourself, you discover what you were looking for during years outside in the world, but could never find it out there.
Nobody and nothing in the world out there can give you what that God-part within yourself can give you. This is your Sacred Source within you, from where you draw all light, all healing, all love and everything you need to fulfill the Divine Plan.
This demands practice, devotion and determination. Yes, the reward is inner healing, light, unconditional love, higher consciousness and freedom from the struggles of the material world. Another reward is that all those spiritual riches that you collect during this lifetime now, they truly stay with you forever; while the material riches are only temporary and will fade away.
This is the higher purpose of your life: your spiritual path of awakening and enlightenment.
You understand now that what sometimes starts as a so-called midlife-crisis can be the beginning of an amazing inner journey to healing, transformation, awakening and a far greater beauty than ever expected. Your discovery of the sacred relationship between your human self and your Divine Self. Now, you reconnect with your own Divine Source of Being and Divine Consciousness.
You see, maybe you are not in a midlife-crisis. Maybe you are awakening from the dream of the limited human self. You are now more and more remembering who you really are: an eternal Divine Being of Light, Love and Consciousness.
Trust yourself: trust your Divine Self, your Soul.
And one special medicine that always helps in any kind of midlife crisis: humour! Meet friends who help you to take things easier. Watch a real good comedy on TV. Find things that make you laugh again. Find ways to take things a little less serious. Instead, love yourself even more.
I hope this helps a little bit.

Divine Blessings to You.
